I honestly don't have any problem with the current operating schedule. I just don't see how Busch could possibly make enough money to justify being open longer than they are now.

Agreed. Unless the still opened on weekends as regular busch gardens between the end of howl o scream to the start of Christmas town. Maybe?

It works for Dollywood and Silver Dollar City. They are in cold climates, they don't spend a whole month shut down, all of there buildings and trees are covered from top to bottom in lights, and all of the park/coasters are open. Granted, they have been open for christmas much longer... but what they have going is not that difficult to emulate.

This I will say for a fact I know would not happen because of how involved the setting up of CT is.

It is very unlikely that the park will be open year round (sadly:().

As for the entire park being open for regular hours during CT, (10am-10pm) it is possible. It may not happen for awhile, but it can happen.

Just a concept I'd like to see, BG should replace Sesame Street Christmas with Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Of course, They couldn't completely remove SSC due to the popularity it has with the little kids:dodgy:.

They could always close off a portion of RPT so it can be heated and host SSC. Polar Pathway could still be there, it would just need a little rearranging. Like, you can enter through the left side for SSC and only have the lower half of the theater reserved for SSC. On the right side would be the entrance for Polar Pathway and the main queue will be in the upper half if the theater.

This arrangement will increase the feel of a traditional English Christmas in England as well as enhance the environment for a modern Christmas in France. This would only work if it's possible to have a show on stage and a walk-through behind the theater at the same time. It's just a simple idea, and I have no idea whether it would work or not.

Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!:D

I LOVE the Idea of putting a shorten version of the Christmas Carol in the globe since it gors perfect with England. Then open Forest ofmfun and put lights and fun figures in it and have Seseme street Christmas on there normal outdoor stage and close it in show how, then the polar pathway wouldn't be disturbed and they should put a ice skating show on in the royal palace!

I would hate it if the park opened year-round. Here in Hampton Roads, the opening of the park heralds in Spring. From a profit stance, it's stupid. From a holiday stance, it couldn't exist. And from a tourist stance, well, quite frankly, Southeastern Virginia is not a tourist destination during the January - Mid March season. Finally, if we have a winter like this past one, for the next few years, closures would run rampant. Not trying to ruin people's dreams, but it would be, in most aspects, pointless. Besides, the park is in wonderful shape because it has a three month rest season for improvement and rehabs. We would lose this if it was a year-round park.

Both Rejoice and Sesame Street Christmas will both be replaced for Christmastown 2011.

How do you know this?

Also here is to anyone who says Apollos Chariot cannot work in cold weather. It is working in the dead of winter here,

When someone gives you information, don't ask how they know it. They can't tell you. If they could, they would tell you up front to backup what they're saying.

Also, does anyone have any idea why Apollo would be running on February 5th? If that's when it was actually taken, that's actually a very interesting picture. Thanks for posting it!

Ehhhh.....I'm always going to ask and wait for them to tell me they can't tell me.

I've been on AC while it was snowing. Many moons ago, probably seven years-ish, it snowed on Passmember Preview Day. She can do it. It sucked coming down that first drop, but she can do it.

See, I wonder what the problem is about AC running during Christmas Town. They really could do some neat stuff over that way.

safe operating temps.... They can run in cold weather.... but it's unneeded extra strain on the whole ride.

Also Rejoice has now been removed from the CT website. But A Sesame Street Christmas is still on there.

Why can't Mach tower operate during CT? It's a great view of the lights!

It has very specific restrictions to be able to run the ride. It is incapable of operation in high winds or in temperatures higher than 110 degrees or below 32 degrees. And if this winter is anything like last weekend...it'll be well below 32 degrees a lot

It's one thing for a ride to operate a day or two in cold temperatures. It's another deal to have it operating for weeks at a time.
