Those look like concrete pipes for pumping concrete. They likely park a concrete truck at the top of the hill for the work being done on the lake bed under the loops right now.

Yeah, I don't think there is anything happening around the outside of the tunnel. Seems far more likely that it's related to work happening down in the valley. I have heard something significant is planned down there.

I hope the new queue theming is for the main queue area — like wall decorations and maybe something in the middle of the switchbacks. I hope they don’t try to get cute and mess with the extended queue, except for giving it some TLC.

I think you'll be pleased with the results then. As far as I know, the extended queue is just freshening up, but should look the same

I've been hearing that the Rhine plans have changed. I think the new plan is a lot more prominent than we were hearing before.

I guess they're finally listening to all the complaints about theming on the newer coasters. Don't know how long this has been a problem but I feel like it's more recent and they're responding to it now. This sounds generalized, but it just makes good sense as well.

Two changes I spotted yesterday.

The sign has been repainted. No more blue stripes. I think it looks great.


And this shed has been built at the new “show scene” before the first lift hill.

I think it's going to be a research station with a computer sonar showing the monster is in the lake
