Awesome news. Wouldn’t expect a project this significant for this old a ride from many parks — especially not SEAS. Either someone inside the company was really vouching for the coaster, or even SEAS realizes how important Nessie is. Maybe both.

Either way, long live Loch Ness Monster!

Rode it this past July, and it's still quite popular. Good choice to upgrade; hopefully the queue and station building is improved or replaced to fit the theme better. BGW has a strong coaster line-up and this is a good time to take an off-year and make some improvements.

Hope this isn't the only thing for 2024. They really need a few new flats (and by "they" I mean the whole SeaWorld chain).

It also doesn't hurt that they really can't build anything new on that plot because of the pipeline.

CSM seemed to have been quite successful with their new track on Python at Efteling. Curious to see who the outside manufacturer supplying track will be.

I got to ride Python at Efteling last month. It’s as smooth as glass and has great forces. It rides almost like a modern coaster — they basically removed the janky Vekoma bumpiness. If Nessie’s renovation has a similar impact on its Arrow jankiness, it’ll be a game changer.
