New documents attached to the Nessie queueing premit, seems like ALOT of time and money is going to the bringing the main building up to electrical code, not in the sense that things were bad so much that modern commercial code is much more rigorous then it was back then. Just making my a point in saying this, because I think seas is getting a decent amount of heat for only redoing Nessie this offseason, but people often don’t realize how much money it actually takes to do a project like this. Some other things to note seems like a lot more speakers are being added/upgraded, along with new lighting fixtures being installed. Another interesting note, it is called out multiple times in multiple places that all old components are to be removed and returned to seas. Dont know if this is a historical preservation effort, a plan to be sold later, or to be reused else where, just interesting as I have never ever seen a not like that on a set of blueprints. Below are the planned new lighting fixtures to be used.

More movement today, seems like the new theming element just out of the station is going to have power. Interestingly it seems like it maybe necessary to run power under the current walk way. In my opinion this has to be to date the biggest commitment to theming we have seen in a long time. Either they bring in a drill and bury under the walk way or actually dig up and re do the walk way either way it’s a huge commitment to just contribute to theming. They could have very easily said forget about it and it would have made sense.

After finding this I went for a deeper drive and checked in on the already in place permits. And found that the original permit has been updated with a final permit nothing really new that we didn’t know or haven’t noticed, except it seems like there will be a concrete footer added for some kind of sculpture at near the loops or the water hard to tell because I don’t know that the scale is true in the drawing set but here are the images along with a screen grab of the satellite image of the site.

Could this mean they’re putting in an animatronic of some sort?

This rehab, for me, is more meaningful than any of the last attractions BGW has gotten since InvadR.

Preserving my very first roller coaster ever in life, and doing it with actual care and detail is awesome. If the park had sense enough to ensure all of its major attractions saw this same attention, what a Dollywood* it would be...😅

Edit: *This now excludes Lightning Rod, which is now sad to ride despite the theme. Now its just "Rod."
