I just cancelled my passes. After my Monday visit, I had little doubt that I was doing the wrong thing. I'll consider joining in the future but right now the lack of things to do for my 5 year old is a big factor as he's at the 44-45" height. We wanted to give the park some money on Monday but the speakeasy wasn't open and neither was the railroad tour.

Is it likely that members will get an extra bonus pass for September like were given out for August?

Likely depends on how attendance numbers/projections are looking. There have been a lot of bonus tickets this year so far due to lower gate numbers—hard to know if HOS will experience the same or not.

I currently have a membership but my wife does not. Would a fun pass be a better option to get her into the park for the rest of the year than a basic membership? I don't see any downsides to a fun card since we already have one membership.

Fun Cards don't get Christmas Town. If you only need this year through October 31st and next year from May 10th through September 15th, the Fun Card may be the best option.

I'm sure this question is moot, as it will happen when it happens, but any guesses as to when the presale Black Friday event should occur? Looking back at old emails, it was around the 10th of November 2022. I recall always having some overlap in my memberships, but at this rate there will be a gap in between.

I paid in full, and if I remember correctly the fine print stated that they would keep my information on record to rebill the full amount again this year. So I'm hoping to catch all this in a timely manner.

The text says you can visit a self service kiosk at zone B or in park - does anyone know where in the park there are self service kiosks? I don't recall seeing one in park and they aren't listed on the current park map.

Some of the Quick Queue kiosks SORT OF work as self service kiosks. We've had success printing some membership perks at these with a ~25% success rate.

These new pass member perks make my Premier pass I bought on new pass system roll out week really frustrating. Many times I don’t know what I get. Sometimes I get Platinum pass member benefits because a Platinum pass didn’t exist when I switched to the new system. Other times I don’t get additional Platinum pass perks. It’s really frustrating not knowing what I truly get and the park team members usually don’t have a clue

Since it's fresh on my mind... there borderline needs to be legal action taken against SEAS for how hard it is to cancel a membership. To cancel, you're instructed to sign into the member portal under the primary account holder. Easy, done. Then a membership cancellation form will allegedly auto-generate with your info, so you can do it that way? No the deep fried hell it won't. The page just shows "No Active Passes", with a cancel button that redirects you to Tampa's membership portal website.

Ended up having to try 3 separate days calling and a collective 1.5 hours on hold, just to talk to someone for less than 2 minutes to do what I wanted to do. Absolutely ridiculous system. /rant

Does anyone know if BGW is going to host a Members-Only Christmastown Preview Day? I noticed they listed it as a Member Reward for November but only listed details saying to 'stay tuned for more info'. Now it seems they have removed it from the November rewards entirely????

Last year they hosted one on a Thursday when the park was listed as "Closed".

I also had seen that Busch Gardens Tampa is still holding a Members-Only Preview Day for Christmastown.

Thanks!

Pretty sure if you can prove that to a lawyer, you may have an anti-consumer suit.

Then you hope and pray that they actually canceled it. When they rolled out the new Memberships a few years ago I upgraded and canceled my legacy pass. The next month they charged me for both even though I had the upgrade paperwork showing that I was canceling the old. O
It took 3 months to get the second charge refunded.

It now looks like we will only be getting a members sneak peak to gloria
Yeah that's what I was afraid of. That's such a disappointment because my family and I were able to attend it last year. They held it on a Thursday when the park was listed as 'closed' to the public and it was such a great and leisurely time. Not all rides and attractions were open but to be in the park when there was barely anyone there made it feel exclusive and genuinely special to have a BGW membership.
BGW Tampa still holds it for their Members 😢😢

Regarding the Nutcracker post on X FORMALLY KNOWN AS TWITTER…what’s the deal with the extra discount for Platinum members? I was still getting 50% off with my Platinum pass, was thinking of getting a Cuckoo clock. It would be 60% off?

Website has the Platinum merch discount at 30% now. This month there's a special Platinum-only member reward that doubles your Platinum merch discount adds an extra 20% discount for one use at German Gifts specifically. There will be a new store each month that gets one such voucher per platinum pass.

If you are getting 50% off normally, go buy out the entire store in one transaction with your new-found 100% discount!

Edited the post to reflect the correct promo details! Got it confused with the new food discount!

Please report how it works for you. I've been getting 50% off still as well.
