A BGW 2002 Rack Booklet. It is an actual booklet as opposed the previous fold out brochures.

And I quote, "Where the old-world authenticity of six distinct European countries meets out-of-this-world Adventure." As well as, "Our attention to detail gets us a lot of attention. When you get an eyeful of our lush, manicured landscape and authentic, recreated architecture, it's easy to see why." Hey, at least we have a snail now. Right?

We use to have David Winter cottages, English bone china, wool & tartan plaids, Waterford Crystal, Belleek & Donegal Parian china, the BBW which "takes you screaming through the trees", Tudors in Banbury, and home to the only Hummel museum exhibit of it's kind in North America.

Lastly and most significantly to us. It is good to see splash page shots of violinist Karen Stowe, Bürgermeister Bob Bauman, and a bagpiper in full regalia. Karen and Bob, both park staples and symbols for over a decade, are the kind of heart and stability we miss at the park these days. I believe this was the final year for both of these cherished entertainers.

This is the BGW 2004 Rack Booklet. It is in a booklet format the same as 2002. There is a change to the new logo. I preferred the old logo. This maroon one reminded me more of Busch Garden Africa rather than Busch Gardens Europe for some reason. I did like the old world map branding they used. They still say "authenticity of a European journey". Actually, this is mostly rehashed verbiage instead of anything really new. The Gaelic and other language translations on each Hamlet page is neat. Each Hamlet has it's own tag line. BBW still had it's eyes. RPT is alive with Imaginique.

Seeing the questions in the TEA / AECOM 2013 Attendance Estimates thread about what happened at the park in some of the off years, I thought I'd start throwing these up. I'm going by years so you might see dupes for what I've posted before. Except, these will be park files and not scans like my others.

Seriously, how do you have these things?! Do you have a secret time machine that you are using to go back to grab these? I can't even keep track of my daily mail let alone years of busch gardens brochures (though a year or two ago I was cleaning out my car and found about a year's worth of parking receipts from Busch).

But really, it is amazing that you have preserved these things and overall a wonderful resource.

*Blush* Thanks. I am a digital hoarder. Probably not as much as 2003, but expect more. I did other kits for other years in previous posts.

I hope PDFs works for y'all. The park stared producing this file format 2003-ish to put on their websites.

This brings back so many memories. Every time I stopped at a rest area, or when I was at a place that had brochures, I would always get a Busch Gardens Brochure, and study like you would for the SATs. I've studied all of these brochures, I recognize them very easily even though I haven't actually had one in years.

Am I the only one that gets sad after seeing these, realizing how far we've fallen?

But BGW Family, please don't stop posting! I can't tell you how much I appreciate these. :)

Some stragglers I missed. I'll pack them HERE since one is a video.

The 2007 media blurb I posted in two other threads is included. It also mentions "Viva Italia" in San Marco. "A musical revue all about love, Viva Italia follows a whirlwind romance among the streets of Italy circa 1955." They even highlight the Glockenspiel as apposed to the sad shape it is in now. Also missed are the 4-Pack season passes, the 2-Day Ticket with Bonus 3rd Day, and the Platinum Plus Pass for two years.

I don't see a difference in the 2005 and 2006 maps. But, they dated them different.

Finally, some interesting results for BGE in the 2007 Theme Parks Magazine’s Fourth Annual “READERS’ CHOICE AWARDS”.

This is what is included:

2004, 2005 , 2006, and 2007 are the years I remember the most about Busch Gardens so I really appreciate those. If you have anything about Corkscrew Hill please share!

And onto 2009, the year IT happened. Selling the park, putting the Wolf to sleep, etc. Just too much to handle for the dependable escape place we NEVER thought would change. We canceled our passes this year, waiting to see what would happen with the park.

I'm going to put up what I have for 2009 anyway. I had a disk problem so I'm missing a few files. I have the names but the files are corrupt. :(

Any chance anyone has "2009_BGW_Brochure.pdf"? I also had "2008_Online_BGE_press_kit.pdf" but it too is corrupted.

Too slow to attach so I'm doing an external link again.
2009 BGW

Not from the park, but interesting to see.
