If you look at the Land of Dragon section in the brochure that BGW family put up you can see the slide if you zoom in and look to the bottom left.It has a big runway and looks almost like a Caterpillar. Thanks!

Riffle Rapids was the kiddie flume that ran under the treehouse that closed after the 2008 season. Some of the parts (boats, loading area, etc.) were presumably moved to the Bert & Ernie flume in the Forest of Fun.

It's been gone for many, many years. They have covered the openings with red, circular boards. Its entrance/exit rooms are very empty-looking, now. :(

I can't believe how colorful Land of the Dragons was!! It's colorful now, but it used to look like they had unicorns throw up all over the place every night!! :p

Ah, that sparked my memory. I recall that now from our stroll through LOD before we left. Thanks Joe.

I'm mixing years since I don't want this to be a triple post.

This is what they gave you when you paid for parking in 2002 to introduce the bag search process. A physical search? Really?

See...they thought y'all looked like a bunch of weirdos too. :p

That is a strange pic of Nessie; though at least you can see the floating bridge without the second rail set.

Sorry, but you just gotta watch out for the strangest of the strange. People are even getting smarter, kinda. I used to watch a TV show about loss prevention, (I know it's not the same as trying to cause physical harm to mass amounts of people but still criminals all the same), and what I noticed was many of these criminals would use the most innocent looking things to pull off scams.
For example, a baby carrier with a blanket wrapped around a fake baby. You would normally think, oh it's just a baby they are totally innocent when the reality is their stuffing stolen merch in that baby carrier.
Also ECVs. You do not need to be handicapped or disabled in any way to own one, or to rent one. You may feel that whoever has one obviously has some type of disability affecting their ability to walk, but the reality is, there are a select few people who use that to their advantage, to look innocent.
I have even seen little old ladies who will start cursing up a storm and fight. Some scary stuff.

Hey you don't know what Mr. Stranger has under his large black heavy coat in the middle of August.

Yea, people who really want to do harm to people, aren't that obvious. I'm fine with the park keeping us safe, but there is an extent where too much security gets ridiculous. I like the park's amount of security as is.

Sometimes they are that obvious. Not everyone who chooses to try to cause mass amounts of people harm are smart.

Okay, if people are that obvious, then the park will easily catch those type of people, security has the right to Probable Cause, so they can stop anybody from coming in based off their suspicions, until they're deemed, harmless.

On a more related note, the website address, www.4adventure.com listed in the brochure redirects to www.seaworldparksblog.com now.

You know... I don't remember Humphrey the Dragon being that terrifying. I remember him being much cuter.

That picture of that costume scares me greatly.

^Heh. Unless I'm looking at a different one, he looks more like a sheep than anything else. :p
