I guess the light tunnels are permanent. I’m guessing and hoping they have a use for hos. But what are the odds of that. I only hope they don’t use them for summer nights.
I had actually suggested the first time I saw them that they should keep them and string flowering vines through them in the spring and summer. Guess that an unlikely idea now.

This looks like crap.......they were crap at CT and this is 100 times worse. The whole train experience of looking at the beautiful landscape is jumbled with this now.

That really does look bad. And if they planted vines to grow and (eventually) soften the look, it would block the view of the landscape even more.

I don’t like to complain much on here about things other than Finnegan’s Flyer. But is it really the case that the park’s decision makers collectively failed to either anticipate or care enough about a softball-backstop filter blocking some of the most idyllic views at “The world’s most beautiful theme park?”

Or should the location of Finnegan’s Flyer answer that for me?

I dont think that is the case. When the pipes were being installed I wondered what they had planned because they were setting them in the ground. It seemed a very permanant installation. I wondered why they werentinstalling a pipe sleeve into the grount then just sliding the long pipe of the display into that when the CT install was done. Now we seem to be stuck with something that cant be removed. I could give them a pass with the display wall in Italy as they could use that as a scrim to bloct the coaster construction, but everywhere else is just bad show.

Did anyone else notice that the engine on Der Hochbeinige sounded and smelled like a lawn mower yesterday?

@Zachary makes me sit up front all of the time for construction updates, and I have never experienced this before.
