I feel very offended by the tone of your post. I just think it is very absurd that one would take a quote from a man who they thoroughly despise and insult as a serious point of argument. I see no serious nor legitimate evidence that supports drastically terrible changes as of yet.

That's fine if you don't want to believe the evidence right in front of you, but do not go saying I was rude to you, when you were even more rude to Joe. That is so hypocritical, it's not even funny. My post may have "sounded" rude to you, but I had no intentions of being rude at all. I was just laying down evidence, and pointing out that you may have offended Joe, by saying the things you did, no more no less.

Just because I despise SG doesn't mean I don't take his words for truth, it's his words and decisions that bother me, that doesn't mean his words aren't true. And I surely wouldn't think that BG would post something that isn't true in a press release. You can ignore the cold hard evidence, but that doesn't mean it's not true, that just means you want to be right. It's like saying after Busch Gardens announced that Verbolten would be a multi-launching Roller Coaster, that "I don't see any evidence that supports this being a multi-launching coaster, at this time." It's so ignorant, to say something like that, and I believe that is like what you're saying here.

The intent of my post was to point out the lack of insufficient evidence supporting the idea that Banbury Cross will look disastrous. I personally apologize to Joe, I meant no insult towards him.

However, regardless of how you may think your post seems, it can be reckless to just assume your post was not the least insulting at all. Two wrongs do not make a right.

I don't see how my post was wrong, I do apologize if that was the true intention of your post, but my post was in fact right, because it pointed out the correct evidence. Which was the main intention of the whole post.

The fact that so many of you didn't notice blue doors went away just tells me how much this is being blown out of the water. The only reason any of you will even notice the changes coming will be because you have dissected every square inch of the area just waiting to trash whatever changes have been made when really it's hardly different at all.

That doesn't seem like a fair assessment at all. No one notices when things look right. I don't go through Rhinefeld take note of the properly-themed doors and then post about them on an internet forum. 99.9% of people notice things that look wrong- outside of a very short list of park regulars, no one notices when something is made right again. Everyone noticed the Purple Thing when it was added because it was a laughably bad addition that stuck out like a sore thumb and had no place in Busch Gardens. You know how many people noticed it was removed? Probably just about no one. When people's experiences aren't negatively affected, they don't go looking for a reason as to why that is. People don't list off the things that could be wrong but aren't. There's no sense it in.

Great way of putting it Zachary. And I for one did notice the change the morning of Pass member appreciation weekend.

I never thought of the colors as a huge deal, I did think of them as a minor detail, and didn't pay much mind at all to them. However, I did notice that they were re-painted the first time I saw them. I also did notice the purple thing removed.

I do pay much attention to the detail of the park and when something gets changed I do recognize it almost all the time. It's people who don't pay much attention to the detail of the park who don't notice when things are changed and/or don't care about those changes. Not the other way around.

I did notice when the purple thing and doors were changed.

I don't think you're right Zachary. I think that people only notice the things that stick out, despite it being wrong or right. Clearly not very many people notice a couple of doors going from blue to brown. They were brown for so many years and then they were blue for a few years. People were just used to them being brown, they didn't give it a second thought.

The purple thing was only noticed because it was in the middle of the pathway. It took up space and was right in your face. When it was removed, it was noticed. CK took pictures and I believe he posted about it here. Why? Because it was something that was in your face that was removed.

People only pay attention to what is in your face. After a few months, they get accustomed to it and it just becomes another thing. So yes, you will notice the Banbury Cross renovation, but after a few months you will get used to it and the complaints will stop because in the end it really doesn't matter that much. If it really did matter, you would take drastic actions to either preserve the current state, or you would constantly try hard to fix the problem by going to guest relations every day to make the same complaint, or you would just stop going, or perhaps you would take it upon yourself to fix it. However, none of those really seem likely.

I will advise my post to add that there are some who do notice the small things, yet they have grown accustomed, or they are not passionate enough to do much about the small changes, like I mentioned in the paragraph above.

Disclaimer: I do believe everyone here is quite passionate about the park in their own way, but there is a level of passion where you do take drastic actions and such that I fail to see people here actually do. So yes, you are passionate, I am not debating that.

Nobody forgets things like it "never happened," because it obviously did. Look at Entwined, it happened and we're still complaining/making references to it. And even look at KK we still complain about/make references to it, even though it never will return again. And The Banbury Cross re-theme may not matter to you and some other people, but it still matters to the rest of us. Many people are already taking those drastic actions because of the re-theme, and I do plan on complaining about it. Your speaking for the minority in this post, and for yourself especially, but don't write it as if you were talking about the rest of us, because we have very different views from you.

So you are saying they are hoping to condition park goers to sub-par theme and quality. Sounds about right. Except people will not only stop complaining, they will stop going as well. Numbers are already done. Do not keep leaving that matter out.

Ha, I caught the Polar Express reference!

Anyways, honestly I never said people will forget about it like it never happened. Of course things linger around. But a retheme in 2014 for BC won't be the #1 hate topic for 2015. Yeah, you'll complain every so often, but I highly doubt anyone is going to make a complaint every single operating day. That shows persistence and dedication. One more thing, its my opinion, you can ignore it all you want. But really, when it comes down to it, you can't throw out things like minority or majority unless you have numbers to back you up. Yes there is a large amount of people who disagree with me, just like I believe there is a large amount of people who agree with me. There is a difference between being general and then using terms that point out some form of number.

I'm not saying what the park should or shouldn't do. I am saying how a lot of people react from my perspective/opinion. If people adapt to 'sub-par' theme and quality that is their fault. But you said it, numbers are done. That is people taking action and eventually that is what determines the real truth.

Hey I got an idea of what they should do in the new 60s theme and I thought Doctor Who. They could have a Tardis just sitting somewhere out of the way such as near the bathrooms behind the Globe. I think the park could benefit from something like this with out going too "Universal" or "Disney"-esque. Plus Dr. Who and Busch Gardens crossover t shirts would be "cool".
