The thing about Intamin though is that you can have 3 different Intamins and have very different rides because of how vast their portfolio is and how willing they are to try new technologies. RMC is far worse than B&M in that regard and one of the best is right down the street. I do agree that a Mack (especially if it's some of the better looking things we've seen from overseas), Gravity Group, or S&S/Vekoma would be nice additions though.

I understand the point you are making there. But we are seemingly going to have a Blitz Coaster, Giga Launch and a Family coaster. Thats a pretty significant(though not exhaustive) chunk of any manufacturers portfolio. If the height calculations for the balloon tests are accurate and that it is 200'+ I would love to see a new gen vekoma (tilt coaster anyone? BGW loves marketing) or a S&S in the vein of Steel Curtain (bring back the drachenfire drop please).
 
I tell you what I recently thought of in two ways regarding this balloon test:

Maybe there’s a themed thing near the train storage they are putting in and the other one is the main lattice work.

Next is if this is for something else, how cool would a second coaster back there be where Drachen Spire wove through the supports of something else. That would up the cool factor big time for me.

I have some reason to believe that many of you are looking in the wrong direction. But I will stay cryptic till I have a better confirm.

The balloon is the high point what directions might be open to reach that high point?
 
I don't have evidence for this, but someone who was on site during the height survey claims to have seen the anchor of the taller of the two balloons. According to that person, the base was located almost smack dab in the middle of Festhaus Park.

I know bgws top rides are b&ms but a clone of DF made by b&m would be so cool and bgw could market it as like drachen fires revenge or something..
 
I’m still in complete disbelief that yet another attraction could be coming to VA. Roller coaster or not, Seaworld is showing the loveeee.

I really hope a major hallmark of the park’s 50th is not just to buff up the attraction line-up, but to re-showcase just how beautiful the park can be (ie all the paintwork/snowjobs). The “passive” park experiences have fallen to the wayside in the last 10 years, so I hope this 50th anniversary makeover isn’t just focused on the coasters but also the atmosphere.

Against better judgement, I am still holding my breath that Pantheon receives a big makeover between now and then.
