I live 3 hours away so don't go nearly as often as some others but quite often in the summer months it seems to get stuck on the lift hill somewhat regularly when I am there.   It is not every time or anything but definitely not infrequently.

I guess I'm not the only one hallucinating AC being shut down!

Definitely not, it's quite disappointing when it is too. It's the only reason that we walk all the way down that path anyways, so then we usually just end up riding the train somewhere.

You're not alone, Nic. In fact, I would go so far as to say I see one of the AC trains stuck up on the lift hill more often than I see any other coaster at the park do so.

Well, I guess we all have different luck with different coasters. For example Griffon breaks down a lot when I'm around it. I rember the first three months or so of the season last year I wasn't able to ride Griffon because every time I got to it, it broke down, and most of the time it would stay down for the rest of the day.

This conversation is now sounding a lot like, "When a tree falls in the woods and nobody's around to hear it, does it make any noise?" I think we can conclude that, just like any ride, Apollo is not running 100% of the time.

I think this screenshot from the recently updated satellite image of BGW, shows just how much AC needs a paint job.

One half of the turn-around was repainted over the off-season, one half wasn't. And the un-painted half is what the rest of the ride looks like, excluding all the brake sections.

Noticed today that repainting has begun. The station track brakes are painted. The railings on both sides of the track are painted up the first hill to the drop off.  The railings that start at the final left turn are freshly painted, too.

Yes, all the Block sections of the ride have been repainted over the off-season, but that was all that was done.
