So wait, did the park hint of a possible fresh coat of paint? "Who said we weren't?" sounds like a pretty big hint to me.
Looks like "Who said we weren't?" is referring to Jermaine's post about celebrating Apollo's anniversary in general, not to Amanda's reply requesting a paint job.

literally who said the park wasn't going to do anything for the 20th? they released a press statement sayin they were going to celebrate it.
It would be fun if they could round up some of the "maidens" (or whatever you call them) that accompanied him on that first ride.
Apollo's Chariot IS getting a paint job ... park president posted a picture of the work being done on twitter just now.
kingsmill is not the driving force behind coaster colors ... thats only urban legend. its county code that has dictated colors, as seen with the most recent permits, anything above a certain height must have muted colors.

Just stoped at the park. They haven’t done much but it looks like they painted the lift hill and platform by the pre drop
Hopefully it's ready to go by preview day (No reason why not). They are still keeping the guide rails grey, right?
