Volcano Goes Extinct

I was honestly expecting The Crypt to leave the park before Volcano...
I really can't say I am shocked it's reliability has been going down hill over the last few years and shutting it down for a whole season was a big red flag that this might be coming but it will be missed by me. It was one of my favorite coasters.
I can't see any way that they can save the mountain and remove it so I will second the idea that maybe a retheme of SV is coming but then that begs the question as to what the future for Crypt is. Personally I don't much care fore it but I think it's unlikely that the park will remove two rides at the same time.

Avalanche was one of the few coasters I could handle before going from coaster weakling to coaster enthusiast. If it goes, then KD will have fallen to Dorney tier in Cedar Fair's pecking order.
It should be noted that this was never the plan for Volcano, it was supposed to get a brand new drive this winter.
I’ll need some time to collect my thoughts into a full post, but damn. This might be one of the most dramatic removals in the park’s history. Something must have gone seriously wrong over the off season for plans to have changed so drastically.
Very worried about what this means for the future of Safari Village.

I honestly wonder what it is they found that made them choose to just tear it down. They've been so adamant on keeping it running for the years it's been having problems.
There is so much I want to say, but I won’t. Just know that this is totally the park’s fault.
I won't go into the specifics but with a multi-year refurb of the mountain, and then the downtime issues of these past two (three?) seasons something had to be done.
My time with the park may not have been the best, but I will respect them and their decisions.

I just hope they don’t give it the shockwave treatment (no matter how good or bad you thought it was) and take out a coaster of this magnitude for a flat ride or 2.
Intamin headline news battle for the day...
Park Fans: We’re gonna leak BGW’s plans for the new Intamin multi-launch coaster. Nothing will top that!
Kings Dominion: HOLD MY BEER...
(Closes Volcano for good)

It could be worse... All four top officials in the Commonwealth could be entrenched in scandals and taking all the press coverage... oh wait...
Volcano is now apart of a political conspiracy, I refuse any other suggestions.
Volcano must have done blackface in the 80s. It had to go.
