Has anyone ever seen Larry Giles actually standing in line?

On Pass Member Preview Day He walked passed me with a tray full of food from Trapper's for lunch. I wanted to talk to him but my nerves got the best of me.

One day I saw Carl Lum walking past me towards Verbolten. I didn't know who it was until he past by me-OF COURSE.

My only celeb sighting was seeing Alex Winter (aka "Bill" from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure) when he was there doing some video shoot for Drachen Fire many a moon ago....

Be excellent to each other.....

I have a question and this may have been answered so sorry. After the drop track if the train waits about a minute or so before leaving the building is this bc of timing for saftey or is something wrong with the coaster?

What is the key thing located on the dash board used for? I rode 2 times today and an operator put a key in it then right back out. Anyone know?

The ride can only power one launch at a time, so the train sits in the dispatch area (either bottom of the drop or outside the station) until the next train clears the launch.

One thing that I found extremely annoying is that after the drop when the train sits u entirely loose all the adrenalin and get bored.

Do you mean on the ride itself? If so, I had no idea the dashboard actually has a function, besides themeing purposes.

Look on the left of the dashboard, you will see a silver keyhole.

Also note this was taken during CT with my phone... so it's not the best. I might try and get a picture of it up close tomorrow.

Thank you! I never thought you would have to turn it on manually train by train you would hunk they would always be on!

Yes, there is a key hole. That happened to me too. Maybe it is for the on ride cameras. They weren't on when we rode it. Maybe, I don't know.

I agree... What I learned on the Verbolten tour last year was that the ride computer favors launch 1 over launch 2 in priority... this is to keep capacity up by having 2 trains in the building at the same time... I would rather have launch 2 over launch 1 so you don't lose the adrenalin... but that does give me the idea that if you sit at the bottom of the drop for a few seconds, it gives new riders time to process what just happen before getting launched away... just an idea

I do think it should favor 2 over 1 bc with one the ride has not really started until that launch but with stalling at two it really does make u lose all the hype and get bored i was just like umm this is boring i think the regular time right after the drop is enough.

Their Kiosk's seem to crash pretty easily and regularly. It appears to be a product of buggy photo display software. Doesn't seem like anyone did any debugging on it before handing it over to BGW.
