Verbolten is undergoing maintenance for a couple weeks and the bridge to Germany from Italy is also undergoing maintenance. The bridge is pretty close to being done, I'm pretty sure.
Kevin said during the Coaster Day lunch that he expects the bridge to be fully reopen minus the shade structures right around the start of Howl-O-Scream.

In our opinion the lights look like their lends have been cleaned and polished. The paintings also looked like they had been pressure washed. And the smell of mild is now gone. At the very least it it better than what it was. It's just a shame they did this during summer time. So odd

I really hope during the off season they will actually make changes in the show building but I highly doubt it. SWE has a track record with theming thats slim to none. With the 2024 Nessie project underway I highly doubt they will make any changes. Verbolten is most people’s favorite attraction at the park and BGW knows it because the high ridership and the ride was executed flawlessly. So they should keep up with the attraction that is loved by everyone and makes the park stand out.

Does anyone know why the on ride photo is right at the end, before you go into the breaks? I feel like it would be better at the bottom of the drop, or as you launch into the show building.

The biggest thing I can think of is serviceability. The bulbs and cameras get changed out every so often.

It's also one of the most thrilling options to place a photo that's close to where the photo location is. (For running wire/fiber whatnot) The only other spot that may have been better IMO would be launch 1, like you said, or launch 2.

It is kinda funny though, it's like placing the on-ride photo section in RCT on a straight bit of track with the train going 2mph. Guests buy it anyway!

It's worth remembering that when they built the ride it had on train video recording so photo placement may not have been as important since you could get a video of your whole ride.

Anybody know what happened to this part of the ride? It seems to be completely gone
