RE: Verbolten

I will say that I have ridden roller coasters all of my life and have never experienced a ride like this one. To be 24, in great health, and to have the things happen that have on this ride...it should not be safe for the 'first time rider'. First time I rode it, when the track falls inside the building, I experienced bleeding.

Weeks later, second time I rode it. I literally 'greyed out' to the point I had to start clapping my hands to feel like I was still cognizant of my surroundings. My husband felt the same way too. Hours later, at home, I felt tingly within my arms and fingers until the middle of the night.

I have noted that I will never ride this 'thing' again. I will still to the Apollos, Griffons, Revenge of the Mummys, Hulk, ANYTHING but this one.

Im not tryin to discredit you, but most of that seems bee unlikely and if so you are the rare 1 person who has had issues of this caliber.

Firstly, I believe there is almost no way you can experience bleeding from a coaster. After I have never heard if such a side effect from simply riding and following the safety rules for a coaster.

Next, blacking out is really normal on a lot of coasters and from what I heard, it isn't that bad on Verbolten.

Lastly, I doubt the tingling sensation was from the ride. I have felt a tingling sensation before without riding any ride and I believe that was caused from something else you may have done in that 'hours' time period.

Sorry but your story doesn't seem to match up with some of these essential facts. With that said, there is a first for every thing.

As far as health concerns go, a headache or blacking out is the worst I have heard of.

Could you be more specific? Your vagueness leads me to believe you are lying...

Where exactly were you bleeding from? Are you positive that a cut just didn't reopen while you were riding?

Greying out is a common occurrence on rides with a lot of G-Forces, Verbolten has a pretty tight helix in the event building and there are a lot of people who have reported graying out there.

Tingling? Was it like a numbness tingling or did you actually feel pain?

RE: Verbolten

Bleeding from the aweosmeness? Plausable ;)

BTW: A user on TPR has hinted that Yellow train will be up this weekend along with on-ride video! If this is true, I will be posting pictures and videos.

SWIFT: If I do get pictures, do you want me to email them to you for the front page??

RE: Verbolten

I hate that people are already marking up the queue inside Gunter's office.

And I grey out pretty good just about everyone into the first helix. I've gotten lightning the last three times. And each time I did not see the moon box on. I looked down to the left but didn't see a thing.

RE: Verbolten

People bled in their ears due to the OTSRs on the Premier launchers, why do you think they went to the lap bar back in 2001-2002?

RE: Verbolten

Been following Verbolten since the initial rumors - finally had the chance to ride it yesterday. I feel this is a fantastic and appropriate replacement for BBW. My whole family enjoyed it and we are looking forward to getting back on again today. Interesting that I did not really notice all the small issues (vibrating, head jerking coming out of the building) I have seen posted here.

That was from people wearing earings though, correct?

RE: Verbolten

That's too bad they can't get the headlights to work for illumiNights. It would have been such a cool effect and crowd pleaser

Here's a screen shot of the yellow train from the webcam!

RE: Verbolten

On ride video is the last thing missing from the ride, should that be up and running by this weekend, hopefully?
