I rode FAL NR OX!
The green train with the white stripes! The orange one has a wolf reference in the license plate, and I didn't have the chance to see the other two. Frontseatbill, yesterday evening four trains were running.
All in all we wait a little over an hour, with the vast majority of the wait being while the ride wasn't even open. The loading system is extremely efficient, like others have said. Don't be intimidated by a long line, as I would bet it will continue to move very quickly and smoothly.
The ride itself is really fills wonderfully the "family ride" niche. I would say it just borders being too intense to be called a family ride, but without going over that edge. Might be too intense for some of the younger folks but it definitely has enough thrills to please even the excitement seekers. Big kudos to the park and everyone involved for making an immersive, fun experience that still packs some punches. I really enjoyed the drop, even knowing it was coming from the info posted here.
I did find the ride to be a major head-banger, however. IIRC there is little to no extra padding for a headrest, and with no OTSR you have nothing to brace your head against. I also don't think the launches are nearly as smooth as Italian Job/Backlot Stunt coaster, for a comparison, another launch coaster with a wild car ride theme of course.
I guess I had the "spirit of the forest" scenario because the visuals were leaves and such, but agree that the narrative really couldn't be understood at least with just the one ride.
But I really must note this was the best day I've had at the park since the 2007 season. Finally I managed to find a relatively uncrowded day, with the park busy and no walk-ons but all lines very short and a bearable number of people in the walkways and restaurants and such. We happened to eat at Festhaus during the Entwined performance but even then the service was quick.
Great day. Great new ride in Verbolten! KUDOS KUDOS to Busch! DON'T MISS VERBOLTEN!
PS: They REALLY should re-record the way over the top chipper "auf wiedersehen" at the end! Too silly!
