RE: Verbolten
The park only stated in 2010 BEFORE any real major work had begun it would open in March 2012. There was a PDF file of their work schedule posted somewhere on this site (currently missing) that said the ride was to open in April. A spokesman from Zierer said it was to open April. Now the park has said Late Spring.
The only indication of a delay is the ever changing opening dates. The park has thrown out March to Late Spring to just 2012. The fact is, the park could have been considering a few different work schedules in 2010, one of which could have ended with the ride opening in March, but the fact of the matter is, the park is taking no chances and saying Late Spring now.
Something could have happened, but it is ridiculous to start ranting that Verbolten has hit a major delay in construction. Yes, they may not be up to their schedule, but there is no CREDIBLE information that proves that. You saying Verbolten is delayed is just as if I said it didn't hit a delay. There is no proof to support either one of us, all we can do is guess what the heck is going on
Also, comparing Mach Tower to Verbolten is apples to oranges. One is a drop tower and one is a roller coaster. Sure the park can compare BBW to VBOLT, but they can do that because they know everything about both rides, that plus both rides are coasters. Comparing BBW to VBOLT is like comparing green apples to red apples. They are at least the same type of something. That and the people who made them are completely different.
Now I would like to take the time to say, I am sorry. I may not be right. I can be completely wrong, but I am pretty sure I am right. I am not saying you have not provided credible information before, it is just this makes little sense to me. Do you have information that Verbolten has experienced major delays? Please provide that to us and I will drop my issue about delays. As for comparing MT to VBOLT I can never drop because like I said, two different ride types. If they were both coasters or both drop towers, I could understand. With all that said, where is the opening date posted? Where is the work schedule? Tell me all the delays they have had. Most importantly, give me a little proof to back it all up. Nothing big, just something that makes sense.
I also think this argument may be due to lack of interesting discussion on this thread. How about we cool down now before we set this thread on fire?
