RE: Verbolten

Just like most of the GP, I would say they are shocked, surprised, and intrigued. It is not hard to hype people up quickly, or at least intrigue them.

RE: Verbolten

The popularity of ANY ride will die down as time marches on and they're replaced by bigger/better rides (especially if they're replaced by bigger, better rides).

It happens for just about any ride that's out there. V-bolt will be no exception to the rule.

Being this one is going to be a hair bit out of the cookie cutter node we are so accustomed to I think the hype will last a bit longer. Otherwise, spot on, good sir!

RE: Verbolten

The weather-guessers have predicited ~2 inches of snow for Williamsburg. I doubt that this will slow the progress of the ride, but could it?

RE: Verbolten

They also said it probably wouldn't last long on the ground, but yes, it could slow progress, but I think they are only working on theming and electrical now, so maybe not

RE: Verbolten

I honestly think they have progressed so quickly that even with 2 inches of snow, they could still continue forward. Since like was mentioned, they are working mostly on themeing and electrical, which I don't think there is too much of that outside. They could at least working on the event building during the snow, which probably won't last long. Then they can go back to all the other areas that they couldn't get to earlier.

All in all, it will not affect the ride's opening greatly, or at all. Don't get too excited :p

Shark status has been upgraded to Nurse to Great White. We're going to need a bigger boat to pull this thread fast enough to make the jump.

RE: Verbolten

Nurse: It's dead doctor, we can't do much more.

Doctor: I won't let it die on me! Not today!

Nurse: It's okay, just let it go.

Doctor: We can keep it living, just give me some more information!

RE: Verbolten

He's dead Jim.

Now to revive this thread (though it wasn't really dead); How long do you think before the park releases more info about Verbolten (be it a teaser, press release, or whatever), if they release anything at all?

RE: Verbolten

*Picard Facepalm* For the love of god, google Nurse Shark.

Gavin: Next month, that way they will start advertising when testing is wrapping up.

RE: Verbolten

The snow pretty much stopped a few hours ago. W-burg never gets much snow to begin with. If anything, outdoor work's slowed down a bit, but should pick back up tomorrow (It's probably mostly indoor work now).

RE: Verbolten

So on another Verbolten forum, someone posted a video of an engineer doing an interview about several upcoming Busch attractions. One of the rides he mentions is Verbolten. He made one interesting comment that I want to share with you guys.

He said "...and it has some very interesting endings."

Is he referring to the covered bridge before the drop into the Rhine? Or something else?

Theres a subject for us to discuss...
