Here are a couple more images, these are from @WDWRLD. He told me he got a few more, I'll be putting those in a post for the site.

How come so much of this looks like Intamin ? The track the supports ?

The triangle shaped track is used in sections that will experience greater force load. This will allow better support and will facilitate longevity. If you look closer, other track sections have the more traditional Zierer design.

Also, you can thank B&M for pioneering new support design. Most supports were of the "scaffolding" variety. Now, the tubular support design has really been welcomed by most manufacturers.

Considering that monstrosity at KD is one of the more boring coasters around you'd lose it. I expect more from you than that, Scott haha.

I respect your opinion, and then can't help but laugh.

I understand the BGW loyalty...but come on...really?

If you think i305 is boring, then you must fall asleep on Griffon and must think Apollo's Chariot is mediocre. I mean I find it downright hilarious (and sad) that one coaster at KD has more themeing than every coaster at BGW combined.

Back on topic, as construction continues I find myself getting more and more excited about Verbolten...hope it lives up.

Verb will have way more theming elements than a great driver's name painted on a train. That doesn't count as theming. 305 just does not have a draw for me. Speed and turns. Cool? It's on par with your average coasters but that is about it… aka your average parking lot coaster. There are no mind blowing elements. Intimidator at Carowinds? Much more worthy of the Earnhardt name.

Hmm makes me wonder how much track will be installed over the next week. They have obviously been making decent progress. From the looks of the timeline posted earlier it looks like we will not be seeing the outdoor segments arrive until after HoS has concluded.

First post has been updated with a link to the tentative schedule. It is pretty accurate minus a couple weeks due to the storms we had end of August more than likely.

RE: Verbolten

I would like to add that pretty much every coaster at kd is a parking lot coaster because kd is completely flat... just sayin

RE: Verbolten

None of you have ridden either of the intimidators have you?

Intimidator @ Carowinds= fun the first time, but like most hypers, i was literally closing my eyes and going to sleep....

I305= amazing.... On par with MF, just needs more humps, keep the TWISTies, though!

I have been defending i305 on here since the day I joined. I just can't fathom why so many individuals on this site are negative towards it. I still haven't ruled out jealousy. It has a solid amount of theming, is 1 of 4 giga-coasters in the entire world, it has the best first drop I have ever been on, the first turn pulls incredible g-forces, it is extremely fast, and in 2011 trim it has some decent airtime.
