Random thought - I hope the proceeds from the sale of this land are kept within KD’s control. Then maybe they could do something like buy the Red Roof Inn and make is more tolerable for them to have their own on site hotel, or at the least turn that into new employee dorms.

Heck maybe the could use the money to repave the parking lot.

I understand that. I’m just walking through how the potential sale of the dorms/campground could work. I’m not saying it’s even close to the top of the list of possibilities. But at the minimum, the dorm relocation would need money and resources to figure out.
 
If the land that the campground sits on would be sold, I don’t see them building a new campground. There are a few parks in the chains with campgrounds so it does not seem to be a priority. Kings Island did not replace their campground when that land got developed into Great Wolf (the new campground there is not owned by Six Flags)
 
Just got the scoop - my source is a senior official with direct knowledge and access. This is actually happening. Busch gardens has purchased the land (along with the meadow event park) & is relocating the entire park there along with WCUSA. Seaworld stock buybacks related. The pump house on site will be reused for WCUSA and the greenhouses will be reused for BG. The animal hospital will be reopened.
