Awesome addition for my former home park. I'll welcome any major flats, plus the shortcut up to great bear will be huge for keeping legs a bit more fresh through the day. Expand the area by candymonium next!

Late to the party here, but I'm excited for this ride. Not that it's a huge shock, but it will serve the park well in an area that has been stagnant for quite some time. Also helpful would be the new steps (assuming this is guest-accessible) to connect Great Bear, Coal Cracker, etc with The Hollow - there is a ramp there but it's narrow and steep, so this is much appreciated.

Also nice to see the entrance/queue down by the creek - it's an area that seems to go overlooked quite a bit, and should help spread crowds. I'd also love to see them fix up the area that used to be home to the Rolling Rovers, too. That's to the left of the new ride and could hold a new/relocated kiddie flat or food service building.

Based on this video from Disney Lovers at Hersheypark from the weekend before the annoucement, it looks like they are doing more work in the park and may revitalize some of the other areas around Kissing Tower Hill, so hopefully there's more added next season. A bar has been missing since the start of this season when the beer counter was removed from The Overlook during its renovation, for example, so that's something that could get added back in.

Some new shots from 8/30:

Looks like a path widening project, likely for cranes to make the turn to go towards Twizzlers Twisted Gravity:

It will be interesting to see if they do anything to spruce up these areas. The former hot dog stand and part of the old Dark Nights maze still exist next to the site, plus a smoking area.

Edit: Here are the air tanks sitting behind Candymonium:

Hershey is the lowest tier chocolate, but I'll admit to liking peanut butter M&Ms quite a bit. Wait... that's Mars too. And, wait... they make Combos??? I'm ready for Mars Park.

In that case...

Mars buys out Hershey and takes over. Maybe we'll get better quality chocolate in Hershey's products, too.

Wins everywhere...

The funny thing is Mars' chocolate was originally from Hershey - the second M in M&Ms is Murrie, which IIRC from that book, was because the son of the managing director of Hershey convinced his dad to sell some chocolate to Mars for them to get started with their coated candies.

I really do suggest you read it if this kind of thing interests you, it even has some basic history of HersheyPark and the town itself.

Hershey's dark is amazing and their chocolate-adjacent stuff is the highest quality you'll find mass produced. I went to college 15 mins away from the town and slandering Hershey is blasphemous. It's just the regular milk bars that are kind of mid.

I wonder why hasn't Hershey bought Cadbury back in 2010 since at least cadbury candy has names that translate well into theme park rides
