Oh I guess this has it's own thread now. My bad admins. But yeah you'd think this would be a lock for Winter ops honestly.
I'm not 100% confirmed on this but I've heard S&S Free spins can run as low as 34 which makes it a no brainer imo. That thing can hold over people once Dom and TT go down at 40 for a couple hours.
Bigger question is if the park wants to open up that section of JX - it's not as easy to cordon off the rest of the area (though they could run Arachnidia assuming it's ok in cold) as it is to block the paths coming from Dominator and CAG/PS.

I wouldn't say that the free spins can operate in lower temps. If I were to guess, it would be about 40 degrees when it would shut down. The Six Flags models valley all the time in cold and wind. Also, Tumbili didn't really run all that well opening day with the snow. Only two trains got sent out before closing for temperature and then the park closed early.
That Sunday after it opened I went and rode it sub 40 while TT, Dom, and I305 were closed for temps still, it was cold as hell that day. So it’s definitely sub-40, the exact number I’m not sure.

If that's the tame side, then this is probably one of the most intense 4D Freespins, if not the most intense.

My only wish for Kings Dominion's 2023 season is that Tumbili gets a sign. Does anyone know if there is a specific reason why it doesn't? Supply chain issues...?
At the park today. Can say there’s few things that would get me out of line for Tumbili faster than 1 car operations.
Are the Tumbili seats spinning more continuously now? A difference I've noticed between this and the Six Flags models is that the SF ones tend to spin more consistently; not aggressively, but the spinning looks continuous. From what I've seen Tumbili tends to rock more than it spins, as if there's some friction or heaviness that make the seats struggle to spin. And I thought I heard they were going to upgrade the spin fins so that each side gets a balanced spin.
