what other locations lost beer?
No other location lost beer. They just also removed the draught beer from here in addition to changing the fountain beverages to self serve. They still offered beer in a bottle.
I assume Trapper's will receive a beer serving location like what Marco Polo and the Festhaus have.

I asked a supervisor and they said no that they were just serving a limited amount in bottles.

So after the discussion on bbq sauce recently tonight I went with plans of asking for either the “drizzle” or “brush” as so many had said is how it’s suppose to be. Well we get to Trappers and are the only people there, I ask for the brisket and before even asking she says “would you like sauce?”. She loaded me up and it w
as the best brisket i’ve had all season! Kinda makes me wonder if someone somewhere saw the conversation about sauce this week. 036BED74-A5D1-4AC3-85A4-EBE9F8FFEE52.jpeg

They were already losing so much money by being open yesterday, giving sauce like that is the least of their concerns.

That's neat though, hope they keep doing it.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that they were losing money by being open there last night. They may not have made a lot but traditionally BGW is really good at closing down locations that aren't going to take money that day.

There was a discussion recently about the sauce and being charged for it. Aparently them putting sauce on the meat is how it suppose to be done so they werent just giving it away.

Fun fact, the smokehouse loses money on more days than not, but still makes a net profit by the end of the year in thanks to near-capacity days in HOS and CTown.

Fun fact @Pink, I can promise you that I have a far better understanding of the park financials than you do. I have a degree in finance and I have some intricate knowledge of all the financial records at the park. I don't want to give too much away as there are higher ups at BGW who will know who I am from my time working in the park. I can promise you that your statement is not as correct as you think it to be. There are certainly days where the park loses money but they aren't as often as you might think.

Also fun fact, I've seen a good portion of the records myself. I'm not here to argue about it or start a fight, just make a point that the restaurant can be losing money if you only account for the restaurant and not the total from the park, but even that's a whole different thing.

I hate eating at Trappers this time of year. Just doesn't stay arm enough inside. And smoked chicken/turkey is a perfect for holidays. I wish they could make it and put one Festhaus line dedicated to Trappers cooking so we can enjoy it indoors where it won't lose it's warmth so fast.

Have you not eaten at the Festhaus lately. When you stand in line to pay for 10 minutes your food will be cold there too.

I have and at most have been in line for about 3-4 minutes and the food was still warmer than the same time through trappers.
