Everytime I go I always have issues with the wind blowing stuff away. When we went a few weeks ago we had issues with spiders on two separate days. Would be nice if they had a section with walls all around

When We get food from Trapper's we go across the path and try to sit on the side of the Funnel Cake Shop.

Quieter and Trees for some shade and the building blocks out A lot of the Wind.

Just An Idea you might try for yourself.

Until he's there when you're there. And then he's taking up your Funnel Cake spot, and it's your own fault, and you're kind of mad at him, but know you have no right to be...but you still kind of are, and are also mad at yourself.

You'll see.

Nope, just trying to impart some Funnel Cake Seating Areas knowledge to the masses, won't be mad at anybody for using that seating area.

It's all good

I love eating behind the Funnel shop. I have the opposite issue with the seating area near Trapper's; no airflow at all. The only bonus to that area is that you can get to the bathrooms via a back staircase. But I much prefer to eat in the shade, watching Griffon go by.

The funnel cake shop grove is a nice little hideaway. Also a semi-shortcut from Griffon to Alpengeist. But mostly just a decent place to sit a spell.

Was at HOS this weekend and had a grilled corn on the cob. As it was dark I couldn't see what was on it. It wad delicious and want to know what they put on them besides butter. It tasted like there was some sort of salt on it. Would like to know so can try at home.

This place continues to only have one thing I love. Their Mac and cheese. I don’t know if I’m not that big of a barbecue fan, but I can’t bring myself to like the chicken, or ribs. The brisket is decent. The chicken is dry and truly not that great. The ribs barely have any sauce on them, and the meat isn’t very flavorful. If I continue to eat there I’ll usually just get a salad wrap and Mac and cheese. Got that stuff is so good. I don’t know what they put in it but I absolutely devour the Mac and cheese.

Their mac and cheese is amazing. I like their bbq but I can totally agree with you about the mac.

When I visit, this is the only place I eat for some reason. I feel incomplete without a Smokehouse Sampler.

I wish the ribs were a bit better. I can't say I've had better at any other theme park (maybe Disney), but I'd gladly pay a buck or two more for a less rubbery texture.

Far from the worst I've had. Just not as great as I'd like.

I don't know what it is, but the brisket here is either one of the best I've had, or the worst. It changes daily. Which at least tells me they aren't using fake shit that makes it taste the same every time, it is most likely just dependent on whoever is the one who prepares it.

Or its left over from the previous day.......
