Lower Center of Gravity can sometimes mean less wheel carrier stress during certain sections of the ride from what I have read. One remark was that the new seating was far higher up than the old TTD setup. Was the "stilted" effect causing some kind of added stress/COG wobble?

Lower can be better...if that was investigated at all from a design standpoint.

It looks like the actual seats are lower to me. But of course it’s very far away and blurry.

What's the over/under on how many days TT2 will be running this season? The pessimistic side of me is going with 25...

Anyone else notice that they mention TT2 but NOT Siren’s Curse?

I don't think there was ever a serious expectation that Siren's was going to be ready for opening day, hence their "Summer 2025" marketing from the beginning. I would imagine it's definitely open by the 4th of July, probably before.

Them mentioning TT2 is interesting... hopefully that's reflective of their confidence in the fix. Cause if not, it's just starting the PR headache all over again.

Interview with Tony Clark to hear it from the man himself. He does seem pretty confident for what it’s worth.

Tony also said last year, with an air of authority, that TT2's closure wouldn't be a summer-long thing. That could actually be what they thought at the time. You can bookmark this interview the same way to see if this prediction ends up being wrong.

He's the park's PR chief, so no matter what, he's going to spin things positively. That's his job. His job is not necessarily to give all of us the most complete and accurate information.
