I don't mean to be too skeptical, but they could be saying this just to keep season pass sales going. Is there really any reason to believe this will be ready for opening day? I am, indeed, skeptical.

I am the same with sirens curse. They say it should be ready by coastermania but I want to know how realistic it is.

They are anticipating it being open for opening day, according to Marcus Leshock. A couple of doomers in this thread but I hope it’ll have a good season. This thing spent a lot of time in the oven…

Weird question, but how tall is the nanocoaster? I'm kind of obsessed with collecting nanos, and I think I'm going to get the SteVe one and Top Thrill 2 one when I go this summer. I was just wondering about how tall it is. Does anyone know?

I’m actually curious myself. The scale definitely isn’t always the most accurate (SteVe is noticeably taller than Magnum and about the same height as Millennium), but the strata nanos do definitely look tall in pictures.

Likely won’t be able to get to the park this year, hopefully they put TT2 in the online shop. Siren’s Curse is there, holding off on ordering until the park opens so I can try to save on shipping.

Cedar Point’s Top Thrill 2, set to open Saturday, awaits state certification

"Cedar Point spokesman Tony Clark said on Tuesday that the ride should be ready for opening day on Saturday.

“The inspection of Top Thrill 2 is a multi-day process (much like our other large rides and coasters),” he said. “We anticipate it will be licensed before the park opens.”

The coaster is one of the most highly anticipated of the 2025 amusement park season. A revamp of Top Thrill Dragster, the ride debuted last year but operated for just a week before it was shut down for the remainder of the season due to concerns about the new coaster trains.

The trains have been modified by European ride manufacturer Zamperla and the coaster has gone through testing in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, the state inspection process is under way, according to Levin. “While there isn’t a determined date of completion, once the inspection is finished a ride inspection report will be available,” he said."

The Strata nanos are pretty tall. Here's the Kingda Ka one next to El Toro (Toro's turnaround between the lift and the drop is about 3 inches in height). Sorry, not the best quality on the picture.
