The spike actually does look pretty wild and it's not even going to full height given that it doesn't clear the top hat yet. This should be fun, especially in the back row.

Hello. New poster here(sorry if I sound ignorant) I noticed the youtube channel, Lake Eerie Lifestyles seems to have been forced to rebrand on account of circumstances beyond his control. Does anyone know what happened? Kind of seems like some corporate types took offense to the drone footage or something

There's a thread on Reddit right now with speculation, but I don't think either party has confirmed expressly what happened.

Probably received a cease and desist or CP threatened to take some form of legal action is what I personally think happened.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to ask how far in advance parks will usually announce their media days? I'm almost ready to send an email to CP for Top Thrill 2 Media Day, but I am a little concerned that I would be denied because they haven't announced the date yet.

You just need to get your outlet on the media list. Opening media day invites are months away most likely. Your goal between now and then is to build a relationship between your outlet and the park's PR team so you can receive future media communications, event invites, etc.

It would, but it's also (in this case, quite literally) a once in a decade happening that it may not justify installing it. Could also put a set of stators up there, like Velocicoaster, to boost it over if it ever stalls. Though considering there's an elevator built into the tower here, a maintenance crew could probably be up there within 20 minutes to assist/push the train over (if the wind doesn't do it sooner🤣).

Or if the guests aren't able to weight shift a rollback.
