Strobes were on in the tunnel tonight August 10.

^Just read your post HA - go figure, at least they're keeping them on.

Yeah from much earlier reports you had to look behind you to notice the strobes were actually on. If they stayed like that, their purpose would be completely nonexistent at that point. But it sounds as if you can clearly see the strobes as you ride facing forward so that sounds like a step in the right direction.

Getting to walk down from the lift when Nessie gets stuck? Tré Cool!

Ack. Nightmare! Stairs that you can see through, way up in the air? And you have to look at them, because you are going down? It make me anxious just thinking about it.

I think I would be very excited and slightly scared at the same time. I've never been put into a position where i've had to walk down any sort of catwalk, but oddly I want to get evac'd off a roller coaster.

I bring my phone and camera on every time I go on a ride (sometimes not on water rides) just so if the moment arrises, I can take pictures from the neat perspective that I would be given.

Nessie certainly does provide a new type of view of the park if you get stuck towards the top.

That would be AMAZING to walk down those stairs. Now I have to do the roller. Oyster insider tour. Thanks a lot BGWFamily! :p

P.S. thanks for the sign with LNM stats. That was über interesting. :)

Have you seen these? They worked really well on the beach in Florida. I didn't try them in the water park, but I think they would be fine on a water ride. I was actually able to use my phone through plastic.

(I just picked a seller at random; I actually got mine on eBay.)

Had I mentioned "ack?" Every time I think I can suck it up and overcome my fear of ledges/falling, I find myself on a set of outdoor stairs or cathedral, or something and the universe just laughs at me. I was seriously white-knuckled standing in line for the Key West Rapids at Adventure Island, as the who structure shook.

Bill gates knows what we want better than we do. We should all just accept his wisdom and move on. Oyster was probably a better word and we all just didn't know it.
