Wasn't there supposed to be a sign somewhere?
This was added about a week after her birthday:

It's still up. Don't blink...

^Wow! That really catches the eye! :p

I didn't even know that sign existed. Minus 1 for BGW!

^
I choose to believe that they did this because we complained about NO LOVE for NESSIE on her 35th here.

EDIT:

I was in the Tweedside store at least twice a week in the spring and early summer. I got to know the kind gentlemen in there very well. Every time he saw me he would say, "No sir. Sorry but still no Loch Ness 35th gear or sign. I think they ordered something. That's about all I know now." :s

You can't even see this view now. Stupid fence.

I actually like the fence. I also like the info that they have (not that I didn't know it already! :p) I do think that they should "age" the look of the fence to make it look as old as the extended queue. :)

I rode this for the first time in a while on Friday. I had forgotten how fun this ride actually is. It's not the most thrilling ride in the world, but I had a big smile on my face throughout the entire ride. I'd hate to see it go in the future :-/

^ I'm going to go ahead and call hog wash on the BBW story right there. Harnesses just don't come unlatched. Even the old system BBW had included fail safes.

We rode Loch Ness Monster for the first time in years this past Saturday morning. It was great!
We walked right onto the ride and climbed in the very last car that we love. When the ride was over nobody was waiting for our seats so the ride attendant told us we could just stay on and ride again.
It was a blast. Love Loch Ness. :D

While I'll admit I wasn't there, they both told me about this afterwards. I tend to believe it happened.

^THIS! My kids and I find it fun to hit Nessie at the end of the night, we end up riding 3-5 times in a row.

We always used to ride it as many times as we could, as the park was closing. The sentries posted at the entrance have gotten grumpier recently, however, I have noticed. One even made me get a locker for my purse!

Yes. For the first time EVER, I purchased a $1 locker rental to get on a ride. I had to do it to get my pictures that I wanted (coming soon). They just started really cracking the whip on this in the last week or so that I've noticed. Also, they have these new signs on ride entrances for the last month (I think). Anyway, I rode three times in a row. I guess that was worth my dollar.
Even though a BIG man is now grumpy 'cause of it.

The "loose article" storage issue is one thing Cedar Fair handles better, in my opinion. I prefer their lockable bins in the coaster loading area. It isn't that I can't afford a few dollars for lockers, it is that I find them inconvenient and it is a pain to carry around dollar bills. I'd even be happier, if they got the credit card lockers.

I like the lockers at Universal Studios. You use your thumb print and for the first hour it's free. So you can hop around and use different lockers and different fingers for free all day. :p

But we are old fashioned and still rock the fanny packs so we don't have the locker problem.
