Just curious, did anyone know Python (LNM's sister coaster) ran for 30 years in Tampa and now provides spare parts for LNM for maintenance and upkeep?

I have a feeling everyone already knows but, just something for those that don't :)

My understanding is that a LOT of Arrow coasters have interchangeable parts. (Example: Ever notice how similar the cars for LNM & Anaconda @ KD are?)

Don't forget the meet-up for June 6th on Nessie's anniversary of the official opening day in 1978. :D

I didn't mean to come off rude, I was just saying that because it was confusing me that there were two dates. Thanks for the info though!

bg.bella - I didn't think you were being rude at all. It was a very good and legit question. :)

In fact, when I first saw the sign back in ye day of old, I questioned the same thing. I've spoken with a few people who were lucky enough to ride the coaster before the "opening date" and they often recall how they were able to get right on and then on the official "opening day," the line stretched all the way across the Rhine River Bridge!

Could you imagine having to wait that long for a ride on Nessie?

Anyway, I just ordered my birthday banner for Nessie- so hope to see everyone on the 6th.

I got that cup sitting on my coffee table at home. Good deal at the 75% off store last Fall.

^
Gotta check my receipt for accuracy, but I think it was $22 - 10% discount + taxes. If you get one, make sure to test them out as all of them don't seem to hold their poses very well. The best ones had a CLICK you could feel as you bend Nessie around.

My baby loves this thing!! She has been playing with it and having it sing to the cat as well as sleep in the bed or on the couch all coiled up like a snake. :)

I think Pretzel K got one recently. It's over $20... not sure. Although I bought one BEFORE the new one came out. This one is so soft and cuddly. I may have to buy another one. Because there is one thing my house needs, and that is another BGW plush!
