I don't know according to the BGW Insider page "Look at that - no severed heads! SPOILER: the area doesn't feel any different."

But then again me thinks the BGW Insider feels the park is always perfect and could never make an error in judgement.

I didn't get the chance to attend HOS this past weekend. Did they add any new props to replace the heads? (Besides the kittens).
 
I forgot where, but I saw a headless prop with a lot of blood. I believe it was added recently. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
 
There is a decapitated head attached to the dentists chair in 13. You don't notice it too much with the actress sitting in the chair. There is also one in Cut Throat Cove in the Captains Quarters Room, it is tucked away closer to a corner and the scare actor blocks it well.
 
One of the key markers for sociopathy are people who take pleasure in the death and or suffering of animals. It is actually quite a dead give away. (hunting for food does not usually used as a marker.)

I understand why at times, animals must be killed, but I will never in my life understand people taking delight in it. In fact, I would go so far as to say people who say, delight in seeing a mouse caught in a trap are the lowest of the low and frankly sad excuses for humans.

So, not all of the "severed heads" were removed. Somebody will see that skull and mistake it but for a "severed head" and complain to the park about it.
 
So the park recently disabled Facebook's Ratings and Reviews for it's page. They seem to be relying n TripAdvisor Reviews. Here is a more recent one:

This is just a review of the Show called Monster Stomp at Busch Gardens, which is part of their Howl O' Scream line up for 2014. I saw the performance tonight and was very disturbed by it. The underlying theme deals with Jack the Ripper and a woman is chased behind a curtain near the beginning of the show. She is cornered by two men with knives behind a shadow screen. Then the two men are chased away and Jack the Ripper beheads her and holds up her head by the hair. Although we only see the shadows, it is very clear what is happening as cartoon blood appears with a burst all over the screen. Later in the show the female lead singer's neck is sliced open and then she stabs the male lead singer with a knife at the end of the show. Even though this is intended to be scary for Halloween, I have high expectaions that Busch Gardens will use better taste and judgement. There are people who are being beheaded overseas. I feel we need to be more respectful of our military families, as well as reporters and civilians who are being beheaded perhaps even now as I write this. What are you thinking Busch Gardens? I realize this was probably choreographed before the recent beheadings have taken place, but since they have, why not be respectful and remove it from the show? Can't you get your point accross without having the woman beheaded and having the man hold her head by the hair? Do you not think a simple stab will do? This is without a doubt unforgivable as is and is the most insulting thing you could do to families who have family members in the Middle East. Finally, there is no indication that such beheadings will take place on the stage. I thought it would be similar to Stomp out Loud with a spooky theme. Anyways, here is the exact description from the Busch Gardens Map: "Monster Stomp on Ripper Row"- The Beat is back as electrifying percussion, dynamic dance, and sensational singing return to the stage in a pulse-pounding revue featuring Jack the Ripper that is darkly entertaining. I hope you will consider these points Busch Gardens, but if not, I hope that those who have read this or seen the show will also voice any similar concerns as I have. Take a stand. Stand up for Americans and their families going through this in the Middle East.

Monster stomp was excellent. I know it was a Jack the Ripper sort of show,
but the be-headings were troublesome for me - esp. with recent events.
The show would have been just as good without them.

This one did overall rate the park slightly higher at three stars.
