This whole thing is just Ludacris. I'm so freakin tired of the minority ruling the majority in this country. So tired of all this political correctness whiny bull crap. Fault can be found with anything if you wanna dig deep enough. I can honestly say that I was at the park all three days this past weekend and saw the heads a hundred times and never once did I relate the heads at BG to the beheadings in the middle east. There was a time when this country had backbone. Now all we hear about is these political correctors whining and crying about every little thing and I'm sick of it. If BG had a skit where they had a actor dressed up as a middle eastern person cutting off a persons head then yea ok I would get it but that's not the case. These minority whiners can and will find fault in anything BG does. So if BG is gonna continue to cave to these whiners then they might as well just cancel Howl O scream. End of rant. Sorry.

Did you know that in I believe California a school for years had a mascot for over 50 years and it looks middle eastern with a sword and now they have to change it after 50 years, I think. Same now with BGW, after a newspaper that took many pictures Im sure, and the newspaper chose the severed heads. Whats next Dr. Frankensteen cant get electrocuted because terrorist groups or others use electrocution techniques to do their torture ways to gain info.

They took out a few rubber heads. An entire section of the park is based off of decapitation and I don't believe it's being dumbed down.
Come on, the world is a bit on edge with everything happening in the Middle East and Ukraine the last few months. I'd be lying if I said this really suprised me... And by the way all of these CT offenses hold very little ground. As much as I'm annoyed by this decision, no one was slaughtered for enjoying Christmas. These guys were murdered in cold blood for political reasons not withholding that they're American...

Heads have been falling for many years, but the ONLY reason we care right now is because it's all over every major media outlet. If they were more focused on say... Human trafficking and using bodies as sex objects, I bet the naughty nurses would be gone. I also believe we are just too sensitive now a days. If it doesn't directly effect you, you have no reason to be "offended" as well. Maybe if the families of those who lost their heads were to make an uprising i'd probably have a bit more sympathy... But they aren't. It was 6 anonymous comments on a newspaper article.... That thought alone turns my brain to mush.
Which I brings me to the main point. It's snowball effect here. 6 people claim to be offended by something they aren't even properly informed on (I saw mentions of military, when it was "journalist" losing their heads). It basically shows other people they can band together and force the park to change something they dont like. Again, i'm sure I could come up with some shitty excuse for everything at HOS and how if offends me. I can then go grab a few other people, post all over social media, post articles, blah blah blah.
I love how six people can cause the removal of severed heads, yet a public outcry over entwined and such causes nothing. NOTHING!
So apparently the decision to remove the heads was Carl's choice and no one else's.
Here's hoping that KD went be so headstrong about rushing to a decision.

I wondering if this is just going to be local to Busch Gardens Williamsburg or will the other Seaworld Parks and Entertainment parks also comply with this decision and remove the severed heads from there parks also. I figured it would seeing that this must be a big issue everywhere for the Williamsburg park to act so fast and with such little considerations of the majority.Joe said:

Sky, I understand what you are saying but this is a much bigger picture. If you are going to tread on this slippery slope then how do you pick and choose? You have a wrecked car in front of Verbolten and a wrecked truck in Wendigo Woods with a body inside. How many people have had loved ones killed or injured in car crashes that could be offended. You have body parts other than heads hanging everywhere. How many disabled veterans and their families could be offended. You have alcohol being served all over the park. How many people have had loved ones injured or killed by drunk drivers. I could go on and on and on but you get the point. Those complaining are in the overwhelming minority. My question is where do you draw the line? If Busch Gardens is going to cave on this issue then what is next? Hell, why don't they just remove all the things at Busch Gardens that the minority complains about and rename the park Elmo's World and turn the whole park into rainbows, butterflies and Veggie Monsters. But even then there would be complaints.

Just to put some perspective on this...
Back when people cared about the Nurses, it was easily 60/40 pro Nurse. This is easily 90% for the props to come back. The park has got a bad situation on it's hands and they're really not making it any better on themselves by not properly addressing 90% of their fans on social media.
