We've mostly been sticking around the kids rides earlier. Jersey devil was 45 minutes for A-line that should have been 15. The safari line is not moving whatsoever.

Most of the rides were down a couple times today. Nitro got stuck on the hill and closed for 2 hours. Caught it on the reopen with about a thousand other people. Still running three trains. Skyscreamer got stuck at the top briefly. Wonder Woman went down for a bit. El Toro went down late in the afternoon for an hour or two. We caught it right before the park closed and, damned if it wasn't one of the fastest rides I've ever had on it. And coldest. Dunno if it was the cold or if they tweaked something with it, but man was it moving!

He didn't note the finished work on the Batman/Nitro queue and work on-going inside Batman. Also, new seal on Movietown blacktop and El Toro second train soon to be back in service after refurbishment like the running car.

Honestly, I’m shocked they haven’t just removed it at this point. What was the last time that photo booth was actually in use? Had to have been like…in the middle of its time as Bizzaro at the latest.

Technically, it's still "Open" for ride photos! No employee inside though - just the TVs displaying watermarked photos with reference numbers that you can use to buy them. I can't remember the exact time they adopted that system, but it's probably been at least a few years since they had workers in any of the booths.

maybe turn the old photo stand into a gift shop that sells medusa merch (or maybe turn it into a gamestand like a mini version of the old western shootout if theres room for it)

In case anyone hasn't already seen this, Park Manager Mike Fehnel was given the reactivated title of Park President as part of the wave of president's being appointed by corporate this week. The key thing to me is that they've identified 10 core ("key") parks as part of the company's focus moving forward, and that includes Great Adventure. There are a couple parks that aren't a part of the list of 10 that are surprising. For those who worried about whether GAdv was "core" or on shaky long-term ground last fall during the closure announcements, I think this puts that to bed.

If KD and Dorney somehow get sold, expect Cedar Flags to go all in on making GAdv the thrill capital of the northeast
I did read some reaction to the company news that argued that parks with presidents may be regional anchors, in which nearby parks without presidents would be overseen by the other. Similar to how they've already created regional groupings of parks for pass purposes. So like in our case, Dorney not getting a prez doesn't necessarily mean CF is looking to offload the park. Just that Mike would handle the overall in cooperation with their manager and report to corporate on Dorney's behalf for the Mid-Atlantic, I guess. Maybe he or Carowinds are taking on president-less Kings Dominion. Just an alternative to the rapid speculation this means any park in the company that isn't among the 10 is headed for sale sooner than later. I wouldn't think their ultimate plan is to shrink the park portfolio down to just 10.

Pretty sure it's just standard language in such surveys, but I did just get and complete a survey from the park and one of the questions was 'if rides or attractions had to be removed, which would you choose and why?' I gave 'em the list. 😁

It is standard language. The one I got "post-visit" from Dorney included that question too.
