I never saw this event last year, just due to me not having time to go. (and actually I ended up getting to the park like a week-week and half after it ended. So everything was down already.)
So I have to ask, I know there was the survey they gave out where they assumed you had gone to the park to see London Rocks, was a similar one given out for SSN?
While I don't believe any survey the park gives is an accurate representation of who enjoyed it and who didn't, since they don't give one to every single person who enters the park. But I feel like something like this is something that would have happened. And considering this area is so heavily military and pro-MURICA, I could see quite a number of people enjoying the event as celebrating the country.
However, this really should be limited to like the week of and maybe the week after 4th of July. Celebrating America for two months in the summer is absolutely ridiculous. Leaving it up for that long, to me feels like it's fishing for false or super warped form of patriotism. And that just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe that's just me though.
