Yes, I can say the stereotypes during Illuminights could come over as quite offensive. To tell you the truth, I think if they wanted "Wunderbarn", they might as well have played "Springtime for Hitler". Everything about the show displayed Germans in the most negative/false light possible. I can only hope that this event will at least be a tasteful celebration of this country rather than making it look like a foreign propaganda film about the U.S.A.

That is the glow stand. It seems they fixed it quickly. It is in a very poor spot. Mist and light up toys don't mix very well. Perhaps they might add some side walls or something.

The Victory Canteen is the Pirate Barrrgh, but with the same color and design scheme and the above glow stand.

The metal sheet back drop seemed to have some dents in it when I was looking at it today.

Yeah, one of the supports was broken off entirely. A little worse than some dents, but from these pictures it really was fixed up quite well.

Was about to upload a pic of the groundbreaking architectural treasure that is the new glow stand but saw that CK beat me to it. Actually he and I have the exact same angle, time of day, and amount of people in the shot. (Really strange moment wondering how you got a hold of my picture hahah).

Oh and I've heard the watermelon fiz/martini/daiquiri/whatever should be da bomb - and I'll be of age by then, so bring it on.
