There's going to be better bacon offerings in Oktoberfest soon, so what's the point of one piece on a stick?

The collection of dogs were boiling next to the grill. I've never seen a hot dog boiled and then put on a grill but hey, guess that's how they roll in San-Murica. Was the dog good CK? (comparing to the pretzeldog)chickenking said:My Coney was placed on a grill along with a bun.
I thought it was OK; not worth the price and there are far better choices around the park. I do not plan on purchasing another and these dogs will never be a replacement for anything at the Pretzel Shop. My recommendation is to stick with the BACON THING as a snack if you want something from the Independence Grill.Mazakman said:The collection of dogs were boiling next to the grill. That goes for most parks!
Especially ones that are in the middle of nowhere like Holiday World and Knoebels!
By the way, the music they play after the fireworks is very majestic and inspiring, and isn't American. If you're like me and hate the recent music change in Banbury Cross, after the fireworks is the perfect time to hang out in Banbury.

(I keep hearing about Holiday World and Knoebels; I really must make those trips, I think.)
Great news, Hoopla! I just discovered that my mom videotaped a good portion of the July 4th firework show from beside Pompeii! I will post it as soon as I can!Mad Ludwig said:Sorry, no.Hoopla said:Any videos?
