I suspect this was literally the very first cycle that they launch it fully over the Arch. You can see the recovery/relaunch sequence at 2:12 in that video, where they start swing-launching it up the Arch, then backwards up the cliff drop, then once again up and over the arch. I think that's where the clip at 1:19 begins, and explains why the drop appears slower than what you'd expect (because it is, it's not dropping from the full height). Once it starts full circuit, uninterrupted cycle testing, I assume everything will get faster & break in a bit.

Then there's also the fact that this ride hardware (the track and trains) are noticeably larger than what's found on Pantheon, playing into just how insane the scale of this ride is. A smaller piece of the puzzle, IMO.

What an absolutely insane ride.

This thing is absolutely fucking ridiculous in the best way and it’s still hard to believe it made it past “hey, what if?”

Doubt I’ll ever ride it, but if I end up hitting the lottery and it actually ends up being reliable, I’m booking the quickest flight in and out that I can.

They had to do that so people don’t get pelted with sand, bugs, etc while traveling at 150mph+
The reason you don’t see it on formula rossa is one: it’s much shorter and two: the ride immediately trims the speed after the launch. Meanwhile Falcon’s flight has almost 3 miles of track.

How have we not gotten a falcons POV leaked? Think theyre checking extremely hard about cameras on it or has it been broken lol
