People have ridden Falcons Flight

Translation: “
Those who've tried the Falcon Flight roller coaster say it's a mind-blowing experience, nothing like any ride you've ever been on in your life 👀

With the high speed and changing air pressure, you drop and then get launched back up to 195 meters in seconds, it feels like your insides are coming up and down.

And they say you might get a bit of a weird dizziness, and that's normal because of the rapid air pressure change that happens in seconds.”

A ride so big it causes dizziness from air pressure? That’s a new one.

Not surprising since you also have to consider that the Riyadh area is at a pretty high elevation already with the park itself sitting around 2,300-ft above sea level. Higher altitude means less oxygen. The body needs time to acclimate to a drastic height change which definitely won't happen when you're being launched up a coaster an extra 500 or so feet within seconds.

Falcons Flight is at its highest elevation for much longer than most other coasters, I wonder if that has something to do with it too.

2,300 ft isn’t enough to cause anything noticeable, altitude effects start around 8,000 but when I went to 10,000 last summer I had to think about it to notice. That said the delta in pressure may be noticeable on its own, is this the coaster with the highest vertical speed as well? Or was Ka faster since it was pure vertical?

I mean, it’s not the first time I’ve seen it. Iirc, they shot fireworks on or very close to Pantheon when they first opened the ride.
It couldn’t have been as extravagant and over the top as this though lol…. Those sparks shot under the arch were literally people

Oh, it was nowhere near this on literally any level.

Who are the pyromaniacs in charge that willingly set off fireworks next to an ACTIVELY MOVING coaster in MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
You expect a society in which 2% of their population is for all-intents-and-purposes a slave, doesn't treat HIV+ patients in hospitals, freezes accounts and revokes documents of those trying to leave, tortures people to get confessions, and treats LGBTQ+ people as "sins that need to be eliminated or corrected" (just for starters on their human rights abuses), to give half a fuck about fire safety? Not to get political about it, especially as some countries that will remain nameless are on a road to a similar reality, but yeah, no one there cares. Nor should anyone be giving this massive "look at us, we're not awful" farce of a park any positive attention whatsoever.

You need to go find the full video, they were actually shooting pyro from the back of the train towards the end!

Was it actually from the train? I found the perspective a bit confusing.

Otherwise, this whole thing is a fever dream.

I’m now hearing, due to this stunt, Falcon’s Flight has been rendered inoperable for a little while. Apparently maintenance teams did not clear this stunt. I can’t verify the validity of the cause, but from what I’m hearing, it sounds like the pyro fucked up the LSMs and train that pyro was mounted to.
