It’s just a tough situation because the abrupt closure of Ka is the main reason expectations are so high, and said closure was mostly out of anyone’s control. The Zumanjaro story makes sense, where it had a structural issue that would’ve cost a fortune to fix, and corporate just said screw it and decided to pull the plug then and there rather than spend millions just to operate Ka for an extra season.Yeah all those intamin shipments were for Toro, when the track arrives it should be fairly visible as Green Lanterns plot appears to be the staging area.
I do have to say I’m getting worried looking at the expectations from both those who are enthusiasts and just those on great adventure pages. It’s getting ridiculous and this giga blitz rumor isn’t helping. I’ve seen nothing to suggest this is actually the new coaster, the timeline is too quick, the relationship between corporate and Intamin is too damaged, and the cost is too high.
Really hope these other worldly expectations don’t come back to hurt the park.
If Ka had a legit send off I think peoples expectations would be a little more realistic.
Where did the Intamin giga blitz rumor come from anyway? ETR is extremely credible and essentially confirmed (without outright saying it) that the coaster would be what everyone thinks it’ll be.
I imagine GAdv will get a true headliner to pair with Toro in the next couple of years assuming the company is serious about making it a destination again.
