Footers are clearly visible now, each seem to be in a circular shape
Depends. If the township or FAA want to be asses because work started without all i’s dotted and t’s crossed they can make life absolute HELL for SF/SFGAdv. All the way to the point of basically blocking it from being built.Unless the fact that KK already had the height variance carries over. Remember that SFOG took out their 200’ parachute ride so they could put in the 200’ tall Goliath coaster. I would imagine replacing one thing with another of similar height may get grandfathered in. Building something taller would not…
I also feel like something like this could be easily exploited. A park could just say that since they had an attraction that was say 300ft once upon a time they could use it as an excuse to add another attraction of the same height without getting proper approval. Doesn’t sound like something that’s allowed.Depends. Possibly. There’s typically an envelope that the high point applies to so some parks and places have had the ability to slip another peak in that envelope, but it’s rare. And it’s really hard to use a grandfathered high point location for FAA. They generally want logged exact heights, GPS location, where on the structure the light will be, ect.I also feel like something like this could be easily exploited. Yeah it's definitely a bit early to tell just based on the rebar cages alone. The anchor bolt cages and support columns, whichever shows up first, will definitely be one of our first signs of who it is. But truthfully, just based on the rebar, it's pretty difficult to tell unless you've really done your homework. All kinds of discourse on the comments on this one. Some claim there’s signs it could be Mack, others say Intamin. It’s probably too early to actually tell, no?
I was actually the one who did those Jersey Devil mockups, I'm glad to see someone remembered them! Lol. I'd love to dedicate time to do those again, but life has since gotten much busier and Great Adventure isn't my home park anymoreI think mapping out where the footers are located will help us slowly see what kind of coaster this may be. It’s hard to tell from that video, but it doesn’t seem like those footers are where the Ka tower was and are too close to Superman for the tower of the Mack Tower Coaster to be located there. I feel like they would have started with the big footers of the tower if it was a Mack Tower Coaster.
I remember someone made amazing scaled diagrams of the progress being done with footers for Jersey Devil on the Great Adventure History forums. Helped us get an idea of the work being done.

I know lately I’ve been the “someone in comments” guy - and you know what, I’m gonna do it again
Someone mentioned three shipments from Intamin in May, June, and July that are pretty substantial
Wasn’t some re-tracking done before the season though? Or am I mistaken. I know there’s re-tracking next year and 2027 but that first shipment is massive compared to the other two.The shipments were for the Toro retracking project I believe.
The retracking this past off season was done in house, the retrack they’re doing the next few seasons is gonna be done by Intamin.Wasn’t some re-tracking done before the season though? It was covered on pages 37 and 38 of this topic. Prefab track for El Toro.I know lately I’ve been the “someone in comments” guy - and you know what, I’m gonna do it again
