Jolly Roger (either park) or even Trimper's has more rides operating simultaneously on any given day than SFA has had in the past several years LOL. I'd also argue that the Wildcat or Flitzer at Jolly Roger 30th Street are objectively better than any coaster at SFA except maybe Wild One or Superman. It'll be a bummer to have no large-scale theme park anywhere in Maryland.
I like your first sentence not the second. During my visit to Adventure Park USA on 8/21/23, queue-times reported fewer coasters in operation at SFA (probably ignoring Great Chase) until it was too late to bother going over there (even underestimating how awful that would be at rush hour). SFA really has become too inconsistent to bother traveling to. But your rating seems to at least forget JJinx, and I almost surely prefer Roar, Firebird and even Skywinder over any Wildcat unless what you're really saying is we really should check those out!Jolly Roger (either park) or even Trimper's has more rides operating simultaneously on any given day than SFA has had in the past several years LOL. For whatever it is worth Fright Fest job listings for Six Flags America are still up here.Um I don't want to alarm anyone possible unnecessarily but as of this afternoon all operating days after Labor Day have disappeared from the app and website.
If Universal buys it, it’s to build one of those year round horror attractions, we already know they’re looking at the land Marineland sits on to build one of those, wouldn’t be shocked to see them try that hereMaybe Universal could make this a Kids park? Comcast would have the money to buy the property and split it up for different uses, and carve out 100 acres for themselves for a park like Frisco, and the rest becoming mixed residential and commercial use. It would be a way to buy-in to the region without needing to go through years of exploration work behind the scenes.
which got me thinking:If Universal buys it, it’s to build one of those year round horror attractions, we already know they’re looking at the land Marineland sits on to build one of those, wouldn’t be shocked to see them try that here
Oh god better all be running back there this weekend. Batwing should be back up very soon.Someone else said it was just a weekday thing. Sure hope so...
That is not the case at least one the weekend. I believe they did pull the plug on Batwing but Superman and Wonder Woman have been operating at least some days.I’m seeing reports that the back area of the park have already been closed down so Batwing, Superman, Wonder Woman, Penguin are all SBNO now.
ACE has an event there this weekend and has confirmed with the park that their ERT on Superman is still on.Superman is listed as Temporarily Closed on the website which doesn't sound like a weekend thing. Rapids has been running again after a 7 day break, but according to someone's inquiry is dependent on attendance and staffing. Best non-coaster ride in the park.
