Below you will find a fairly massive gallery containing my annual photos of the spring landscaping at the park for this year. I have observed and admired the park's landscaping in the springtime for years now, and I truly do not think I have seen such a beautiful spring season at the park until now. The unseasonable temps definitely helped the fact, but we ultimately have the park's beautiful handiwork to thank. From beautiful pansies, violas, snapdragons, and even cabbages to the trusty and beautiful daffodils and tulips, the park's flower beds have simply breathtaking displays going on right now, and hopefully these pictures capture that and much more.

Also, kuddos to whoever is able to spot the cardinal!

Great pics as always!!!

I guess this is one way to keep the shrubbery by Apollo, which is usually overgrown, trimmed back.

Looking back last season I'm very proud as to how the landscaping department handled the pipeline clearing. In July and August I never noticed anything was removed in the first place.

Bravo BGW landscape team!

The pansies are looking very sad in Italy. Right as you enter over the bridge from Pompeii.
Looks like someone weed wacked them or something. The bushes in Da Vinci's Garden of Inventions look pretty bad as well. Brown patches scattered on the tops of the bushes. I hope this doesn't affect the "Worlds Most Beautiful Park" award this year.

When I went last weekend all the tulips were in bloom and they looked gorgeous but by Sunday they were starting to brown. Maybe someone can by and weedwacked them and accidentally got some of the pansises? I dunno. I can't believe someone would cut them down, that hurts my heart. I love pansies. I am a pansie. Is that park-wide or just in the Gardens of Invention?

Also when is the Most Beautiful Park aware given? Isn't it soon, in the Spring?
