This ride was my nemesis. It's the reason I was scared of roller coasters since forever. Never force someone on a coaster is all I'm saying (as a kid). I'd ride it now, but unfortunately it's mothballed and I didn't know it was going to be or I would have hit KD this summer.

It turns out that Shockwave has been preserved by Ingress.  It still exists in augmented reality, even though it has thankfully been removed from reality reality.

I know this because Pokémon Go uses Ingress' user-created points of interest database, overlaid on Google Maps, to display it's augmented reality universe.
