This was the first looper for so many young enthusiasts, myself included. However, because of Stanley Falls and Scorpion, guests are forced to basically walk a horseshoe around the park. I know that we've already lost 2 attractions in the past year, but if this small plot of land is combined with Stanley's plot, great things are possible. There are the logistics of train tracks thru that area, but a whole new mini-land with exhibits and an attraction could be cultivated.

Edit: Then again, indoor scorpion anyone ?

So they will keep loch ness running but not this?? Makes no damn sense. This ride is way easier to maintain with only one train running. Better keep Kumba running at all costs now, just retrack it at this point.

Nessie is one of the most iconic coasters of all time, shouldn’t expect every classic ride to get the same treatment. Kumba I think is on the same level at least

This is wild! I didn't think they would just close a classic ride like this out of the blue; it still runs well and is practically one of a kind nowadays. It's also a great coaster that manages to strike the perfect balance of appeal to everyone from beginners (this was my first inverting coaster!) to enthusiasts. I hope PRKS knows what they're doing; whatever replaces this needs to be a very good, much needed addition to the park to justify closing Scorpion.

Then give it the mindbender treatment and replace the track segments and train. If lower tier parks can run this same ride model then this company should have no issues to maintain it. One train should keep the ride running for longer still.

Yeah I was going off the assumption that something catastrophic happened

My reasoning here, and I don't have any inside info, is that the issues with other schwarzkopf coasters, along with the issues that led to the recent hieght change led the ride to be in poor favor with the park. It is likely that some repair item has come up and the park has chosen to mothball rather than pay up. I'll try and reach out to see if I can get any info publicly.
