This ride is getting evacuated right now. From Apollos lift I could see guests literally walking through the trough to get out lol. Tried walking over to get a peak but got here a bit late to see people actually getting off. First time seeing this as a guest. I know it’s normal and part of Evac procedures, but it’s crazy seeing customers walking out of queue soaked knee down just from walking in the water.

It has zero redeeming qualities.
Counterpoint: it gets you wet on a hot day, it's got decent thrills. Fun layout and great Apollo interaction. Good theming/scenery. And the public loves it. There's always lines on hot days, plus every time I get a boat with strangers we all come off laughing.
Sure, they may have disabled some effects, and it may not be the best rapids rides, but you have to look outside of the enthusiast sphere. As is, it's one of the best rapids rides on the east coast and it's immensely popular with the vast majority of park guests

Waiting in line to ride through a barely themed concrete trough just to get wet…
