Just got evacuated off in the pouring rain. Interesting experience to say the least...

What happened and where were you?

Me personally, I was in the back row with my buddy Sean's younger brother. The train slowed to a stop right as it was about to crest the lift.

we were stuck up there for 20 minutes or so until they came to get us. A maitanence worker by the name of Paul said it was most likely a motor malfunction.

It was awesome, a little slippery so we took our time. Not complaining one bit though!

So Jelly! Wish that would happen with me on it.

RE: Rebel Yell

Gonna dream out loud for you all. Rebel Yell, my first ever adult coaster, will be turning 50 in 2025. At which point, or before that would be fine too, I would love to see KD invest some love into the park's first coaster. After all it is a straight forward out and back airtime machine, and how can you go wrong with that. It would be soo sweet to see a GCI retracking with millennium flyer trains added. A fresh coat of paint, and last but not least, convert this into a proper racing coaster like Lightning Racer at HP. I think it makes sense for a Racing Coaster to load from the interior of the station so that guests can easily line up and race opposite friends and family. A quick remodeling/switch of the loading and unloading path could achieve this. Then of course have a light go off for the side that wins the race. Got to be honest, the funnest moments I've ever had on a coaster was racing my friends on Lightning Racer while launching fake air grenades and shooting fake air guns at each other throughout the ride with the winner of the race to look forward to at the end. I have a dream that some day I can officially race my friends on Rebel Yell while launching fake air grenades and shooting fake air guns at each other. Disclaimer-In no way do I support the use of real grenades or guns on roller coasters or in amusement parks.

Rebel yell used to load from the center of the station. They changed it because that loading system did not support choosing which seat you wanted to ride in. Oh, and it wasn't the first coaster at KD.

The only thing I would like to see with RY is a return of the backwards train.
My understanding is the manufacturer said it was a bad idea when CF took over and actually asked about and that why they both go forward. To that point I would think the air time on those hills with nothing to brace against is just asking for someone to eventually end up suing for a back issue.

RE: Rebel Yell

You are correct they were informed that the current trains should not be run backwards. I would love it if they went to a different manufacture to design a train to run backwards.

Backwards Rebel Yell was amazing!
