I am interested in booking the Christmas Town Insider Tour. Does anyone know if the Park allows time for the guests to have dinner at one of the shows or should I make sure our party eats beforehand? Thank You.

If it is like the HoS one you eat at festhaue with reserved show seating. I'd call to double check.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg Christmas Town Discovery Ticket - Valid for 3 consecutive evenings of admission to Christmas Town 2012.

Does anyone know if this rule is enforced?

I believe these passes work the same as annual passes, once activated by scanning the ticket at the first visit the ticket machine will reject it after the expiration date, that way the automated machines scanning the tickets enforce the rule automatically.

Has anyone ever been to CT on a weekday before school lets out?(This week)Is the park usually crowded?

Week days are never too busy at all, more or less like fridays. However school has nothing to do with it because most of the schools are out on Winter Break in the area anyways.

If you can't go on a sunday I'd suggest a weekday.

We will not be able to get to BGW to use our "Buy One Get One Free" tickets I bought during the pass member special offer . I would like to gift them to a military family in the area. Before I offer the tickets, does anyone know if the family will be asked to show a season pass at the gate? (They don't have season passes.) I don't want to offer free tickets only to have the family not get in. I got the impression from previous posts that BGW was not as strict about these tickets as the regular $13.50 ticket.

Also, they have our last name on them all. Is that a problem?

I don't want to do anything that would jeopardize our passes or embarrass the folks trying to use them. Just trying to do something nice since the tickets won't get used. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi MamaBear,
They do not check the names on those tickets nor do they have to have a seasons pass. They should have zero problem using the tickets.

Thanks for answering. I can give them away without worrying now. Knowing a family is using them lessens the disappointment of not going a little bit.

What kind of crowds can one expect on say, Friday May 3rd? Or perhaps the last Friday in April? Huge coaster wait times, moderate? I'm not sure when the golden time to go in Spring is.

Well, if I just consult my crystal ball... hmmm... seems it will be fairly busy all of those days.

Hmm. I've never been to Virginia in my life, so I suppose that gives me a right to ask the annoying "Will the park be crowded on ____?" question. :D I figure you guys have all the experience.

Quick question: Is Ramp Jam returning to BGW this year? It's not listed on the park's site, but it was mentioned as returning in another thread.

You mean....not everything on the world renowned BGWfans forum is the complete and total truth?!?!?!? I haven't been this confused since they canceled The Cape!
