Alright...I've returned to Richmond after six years away weaving the blanket of freedom. In planning the most economical means of attending the park several times over this and next year, I've devised a pretty sound plan. BUT, I've hit a potential snag:

Twice now, I've had locals tell me that Howl-O-Scream is an additional charge event, even if you have an annual pass.

Is this true? If so, since when?

Not true for Williamsburg unless somebody on this website isnt sharing something we don't know yet. Christmas Town is separate

they sent out a feeler questionnaire last year to see the reaction to people having to pay for HOS and get CT free. Haven't heard anything else about it. Howl O Scream is included with the annual pass as of now though. You get a discounted admission for CT. Last year they even did a free guest for HOS if you were a passmember. Even on their website they only differentiate christmas town from the "regular season."

Here you go Doc:
http://seaworldparks.com/buschgardens-williamsburg/Book-Online/Tickets/AnnualPasses

CT is listed as pay for discounted tickets (separate), no mention of Howl-O-Scream so it is included with the 12 months annual pass.
I am guessing what you may have been told was for the folks with the Fun Pass. It looks like it runs out Sep. 2, and I think there is a separate FALL FUN PASS for Howl-O-Scream.

Hope that is the reference you were looking for. And thanks for your "freedom-blanket-weaving."

Fun Card discount with Season Pass?

Hello-

Does the "one day ticket" discount apply to fun cards as well if you have a season pass? They are the same price, seems as if it would but doesn't specify anywhere.

Thanks!

RE: Fun Card discount with Season Pass?

No, I don't believe it does. Also, I'm going to go ahead and merge this into the Quick Questions thread.

There are absolutely NO discounts whatsoever on Fun Cards. This is because Fin Cards really do have an amazing value; pay for one day and get all Spring/Summer admission; and any more of a discount would be cheating them.

Can anyone confirm if the Easter Bunny is back for pictures? And if you can what times he will be there?

Quick question: Tomorrow is calling for 45 degrees and rain all day. Is there a chance the park won't open? I flew down from NH for the sole purpose of going. That happened once to me at Six Flags Great Adventure

Park is closing at 5 today, which is actually quite a surprise.

No right place to post this so ill do it here. They are doing staggered openings on Saturday. Just asked the worker that's waiting to let us to lochness.
I was wrong. Everywhere did open at 10 but seems that only some employees knew. Italy bridge opened at 10 but gate by alpengeist was closed until 10:25 when some people coming from the other side came. Worker who I believe was a supervisor realized it was already open and let us through.
