What rides are usually open for christmas town? I have never been I only go for howl o scream and in summer

All of the ground rides including Eita. I don't know about Darkastle (it wasn't open last year but that was because of maintnace and It might be open this year) Of coarse all of the water rides are closed. Also one rollercoaster is open (last year it was Alpengeist) and might add verbolten to that.

From everything I've heard, Verbolten will be open. According to my tour guide on the Verbolten tour yesterday, Verbolten can run in anything above freezing point- quite an improvement over the B&Ms.

Ok and how are the crowds usually

Well I went on Saturday night before and there was a lot of people but all the ride lines are minimal due to the temperature. So even though there are a lot of people ( no more than howloscream) it really doesn't seem that bad. The only thing i waited for was the sky ride last year

Ok well im going to hos on Friday and have no clue what to wear, I know it will probably be in the lower 60s high 50s. But I don't want to dress to warm or not wear enough. So sweatshirt and shorts? I'm terrible at making decisions. Sorry for the wierd question guys :D

Hey,
I am going to the park this coming weekend. They call for a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms.
How accurate is the forecast in that region and how should I prepare for that?
I don't want to step around in pouring rain.

The forecast here is about as accurate as it is everywhere else in the country. I'd probably wait until around Thursday or Friday to recheck the forecast. Things should be more accurate by then.

Does Grogans pub have a television? I am coming this weekend but don't want to miss my team's game in the afternoon. Would like to have a beer and watch the game at the pub or somewhere else in the park if possible. Can anyone help?

I'm guessing Sundays are the best days to go because school/work are the next days and Fridays/ Saturdays are the days you might have to worry about it hitting capacity and what not. That's my guess never actually been to CT to know this.

Was told by seemingly knowing employees that Fridays get progressively worse as the season gets closer to Christmas. Sundays are usually a good bet. Plus, in a couple of weeks the park will be open during the week as well. I'm sure that Monday through Thursday probably won't be as bad as the weekend.

^ That's pretty much how it works out for both HOS and Christmas Town. Crowds start off manageable on Fridays and Saturdays early in the season and then get busier and busier as the season progresses (Sundays get busier later in the season too).

I am planning to go this Sunday (12-2), which happens to be the day of Christmas Town Dash. How much more crowded does it get during this event?

itll be heavier than sundays typically are. SEVERAL thousand(?) people do the dash and then go into the park. The dash is a way to boost Sunday attendance and it does the job
